“UJ” is back in the USA

Apologies to those who hang-in here every day for an update, because you haven’t had one for a couple of days.
On Sunday, a small contingent of British Columbia Triumph Registry members escorted us across the US/Canada border to meet up with four kind souls from Tyee Triumphs. After lunch in Bellingham, we did a tour on the scenic roads along the heavily wooded coast line and headed for our destination with relatives on Puget Bay.
This is where we’re staying till the end of this week. I must admit (with much regret) that I’m now beginning to feel very tired. It’s been a truly fantastic journey over every mile since the start, back at the end of June – and while ‘the mind’ is still up-and-at-’em, ‘the body’ is saying ‘Whoa there, boy!’ We’re staying here until Friday and then moving down to Portland for the weekend for Saturday with Portland Triumph Association and Sunday for a Family Reunion.
“uncle jack” is currently at Performance Motors in Lynnwood having an oil and filter change – with the additional investigation work being done to (hopefully) rectify an inoperable electric window lift on the passenger’s door. While I’m fairly confident we won’t see any rain for the rest of the trip, she who occupies the seat alongside the door, doesn’t quite share the same level of confidence in my meteorological abilities.
